The NOCO GEN5X1 is a fully-sealed, waterproof onboard battery charger rated at 5 amps, designed for 12-volt lead-acid and lithium-ion batteries, including flooded, AGM, gel, and LiFePO₄ chemistries. It’s 37% smaller and delivers 43% more power than the previous-generation GENM1, making it our most compact and advanced charger yet. With a single dedicated charging bank, the GEN5X1 offers precise charging and maintenance for one battery with selectable modes—12V, AGM, Lithium, and Repair Mode—tailored to maximize battery health, performance, and longevity. An integrated thermal sensor automatically adjusts the charge based on ambient temperature to prevent overcharging in heat or undercharging in cold conditions. For severely discharged batteries, Force Mode allows manual charging down to zero volts—ideal for reviving deeply neglected batteries that most chargers cannot detect. Built for the harshest marine environments, the GEN5X1 carries an IP68 rating and has passed extensive life cycle testing, including thousands of hours underwater.
